Tina Ambani (néeMunim, born 11 February 1957) is an Indian former actress. She is married to Anil Ambani, chairman of Reliance Group.^[1]

Personal life

Tina Munim was born on 11 February 1957.^[2] She graduated high school in 1975 from the MM Pupils Own School in Khar, Bombay.

The same year, she was crowned Femina Teen Princess India 1975 and represented India at the Miss Teenage Intercontinental contest in Aruba, where she was crowned second runner-up.^[3] She subsequently enrolled in Jai Hind College for a degree in arts.

Later in the 70s, she joined the Hindi film industry and had a successful career as a leading actress for thirteen years.

She was in a relationship with her co-star Rajesh Khanna from 1980 to 1987.^[4] On 2 February 1991, she married Anil Ambani, the younger son of Indian business tycoon Dhirubhai Ambani who founded Reliance Industries.
