Diwaliben Bhil was a Gujarati folk singer and playback singer who lived during the period, 2 June – 19 May She has been recognized as a "Gujarat ni Koyal" by music lovers.

For his contributions towards folk art and culture, she was honoured with fourth highest civilian Padma Shri by government of India in Government of Gujarat awarded her the Gujarat Gaurav Puraskar.

Diwaliben Punjabhai Bhil (2 June – 19 May ), also known as Diwaliben Punjabhai Ladhia, was an Indian folk singer and playback singer from Gujarat.

Bhajju Shyam is an Indian artist, belonging to the Gond-Pardhaan community of Madhya Pradesh.

She has been a regular artist on Gujarati radio and her talents were known to the outer world very late. She was a self-taught singer, and did not receive any formal education in music. She sang large number of folk songs, garbas, bhajans and film songs.

 

Diwaliben Punjabhai Bhil was born on 2 June in Dalkhania village, Amreli district, Gujarat into a tribal community.

Punjabhai and Monghiben were her parents.
