          Leandro Daniel Paredes (Spanish pronunciation:[leˈandɾopaˈɾeðes]; born 29 June ) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Serie A club Roma and the Argentina national team.

          He was part of the Argentina squad that won the FIFA World Cup.

          Paredes made his league debut for Boca Juniors in a 2–0 away defeat to Argentinos Juniors on 6 November On 29 January , he joined Italian Serie A outfit Chievo Verona for the rest of the –14 season.[3]

          Roma
