Richard Chamberlain Biography

Richard Chamberlain is an American award-winning actor famous for his appearance as a teen idol in the role of the TV Show Dr. Kildare from 1961 to 1966.

He won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for the TV Series, Dr. Kildare (1961), Shogun (1980), and the mini-series The Thorn Birds (1983). In addition, he was the first role character to play Jason Bourne in the movie The Bourne Identity.

Richard won the Golden Apple Award for the Male Star of the year in 1980.
