Mandlakapheli Eric Gcaba’s is a story that could well be used to narrate the story of South Africa’s transition from being a troubled, depressed country to the one that has broken free of its shackles and is about to live up to her enormous potential.
Mandla Gcaba is one of the four Gcaba brothers who rose to prominence within the KwaZulu-Natal taxi industry of the mid- to late 90’s a period when taxi-related violence threatened to wipe the industry off the face of the South African business landscape.
